Film and TV, and Literary Agent
Leah joined Marjacq in 2018. She represents screenwriters working in a variety of formats and genres, as well as looking after book to screen for the agency.
Previously Leah was an agent in the film and television department at Aitken Alexander Associates, working across drama and factual programming.
Leah considers scripts across all formats and genres, but is particularly interested in comedy, returnable TV and underrepresented voices.
Please note: Leah does not accept submissions from North American (US and Canada) screenwriters, and unfortunately any materials received from such writers will not be read.
Before submitting, you should be confident that you are ready for an agent. This would usually mean having a few scripts polished and ready, rather than just one. Screenwriters ready for representation would usually have entered a number of festivals and competitions, and have had some interaction with production companies.
If you feel you are ready for an agent, please email one complete screenplay as a PDF along with a synopsis or treatment, plus your writing CV (please note, this should outline your writing experience only) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You do not need to send an enquiry email first.
Reading time is currently approximately 12 weeks, but please note that due to the volume of submissions received, only those that include all 3 requested submission materials will be read.
Leah is not currently open to book submissions.
