Author Nancy Revell’s debut novel The Shipyard Girls (Arrow) was the first in a bestselling new saga series about an eclectic group of women who go to work in the Sunderland shipyards during the Second World War. It was followed by The Shipyard Girls at War, Secrets of the Shipyard Girls, Shipyard Girls in Love and Victory for the Shipyard Girls. She is currently working on Courage of the Shipyard Girls, the next book in the ongoing series.
For the past 25 years Nancy has worked for the national press, providing them with hard-hitting news stories and in-depth investigations. She has also written for just about every woman’s magazine in the country, focusing on amazing and inspirational true life stories. Nancy had her own weekly column in one of the UK’s best-selling women’s weekly magazines, where she wrote about her first cycle of IVF treatment, as well as her husband’s battle with head and neck cancer. Extracts subsequently appeared in The Sun, along with an update on her second cycle of IVF. She published The IVF Diaries (Cycle One), as an e-Book on Amazon. Nancy Revell is a pen name. All her journalistic work and The IVF Diaries have been published under the name Amanda Revell Walton.
