Philip Connor Finn

Philip Connor Finn is a commissioning editor at Unbound. 

Born in Athlone, he studied creative writing at the National University of Ireland in Galway, working with Goldsmiths Prize winner Mike McCormack and Goldsmiths Prize and IMPAC Award winner Kevin Barry. He worked as a bookseller at Dymocks in Australia, Charlie Byrne’s Books, in Ireland, and various branches of Waterstones.

He is the inaugural winner of the Faber & Faber scholarship to study the MA in Publishing at UCL, which he completed in 2014. After spending time at Faber, he joined Unbound in the editorial department. 

His writing has won the Cúirt International Festival of Literature’s New Writing Prize and been longlisted for the Bath Novel Award.

He is working on his first novel.
