Rachel Phipps

Rachel is a food writer, and a self-taught home cook. She has contributed words, recipes and photographs to Great British Chefs, The Times, Sainsbury’s Magazine, The Debrief and Buzzfeed, among others, and has been updating her blog with recipes, restaurant reviews and travel pieces for the past 8 years. 

Her first book, Student Eats, tells how she became a food writer by way of her attempts to teach her fellow students how to cook while studying English at the University of London and the University of California, Los Angeles.  It is full of delicious, tasty and low-budget recipes.
