Annie Garthwaite

Annie Garthwaite grew up in the north-east of England, studied in Wales and lived in London before moving to Shropshire, close to the Welsh border and the Yorkist stronghold of Ludlow.

Following a thirty-year business career she has devoted the last three years to the writing of Cecily. She is a graduate of the Warwick Writing MA programme, where she studied under Sarah Moss. Cecily is her first novel – the culmination of her lifelong interest in Cecily Neville, her family and her times.
