David Whelan

David Whelan is a writer, educator and journalist from London, England, and editor of crag. He holds a BA in English Literature from the University College, London, an MA in Fiction from the University of East Anglia, and an MFA in Fiction from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he was a Fiction Fellow.

In the late 2020 he will begin a PhD in English & Literary Arts with a Concentration in Creative Writing at the University of Denver, where he was awarded both a departmental and university fellowship.

His work has been published in VICE, The Guardian, DAZED, Little White Lies, 3AM Magazine, and the Chicago Review of Books, among others.

He is at work on a novel, ALL HAIL BOOD!, concerning two ill suited highwaymen travelling an England rendered unrecognisable by bad decisions, more bad decisions and bears.
