Emlyn Rees

Emlyn Rees is a novelist, editor, ghostwriter, and the author of eleven novels, which have been translated into 27 languages, including Hunted and the Sunday Times No 1 bestseller, Come Together, which he co-wrote with Josie Lloyd.

He’s also written several successful children’s and non-fiction books, including the bestselling We're Going on a Bar Hunt parody series, also co-authored with Josie Lloyd.

In addition to writing, Emlyn has worked as a commissioning crime fiction editor and copywriter and has taught on all aspects of creative writing at a variety of festivals, media events and universities. He lives by the sea in Brighton with his wife Josie Lloyd and family and enjoys marauding across the countryside with his dog and entering chilli eating contests in his spare time.

His latest book, You & Me & You & Me & You & Me, is co-authored with Josie Lloyd and will be published by Penguin UK & Penguin US in 2026.
