Harriet Whitehorn

Harriet grew up in London where she still lives with her husband and three daughters. She studied at Reading University and the Architectural Association and previously worked in building conservation.  She is now a full time writer.  

Harriet is the author of two brilliant, illustrated series for young readers, the detective series Violet Investigates recently reissued by Simon and Schuster and Freddie's Amazing Bakery published by OUP.  She is also the author of two brilliant middle grade fantasy novels, The Company of Eight and The Conspiracy of Magic (Stripes)
