Helen Richardson
Helen grew up a bespectacled bookworm, impassioned by the quest to find new stories to tell or read. A fierce love of literature, words, and writing, matured into a First Class English Literature & Language degree from University College London, which sowed the seeds of an ongoing love affair with London.
From university, Helen moved into television production, creating gigantic toys with James May for BBC2, travelling up the Mississippi River with Sir Trevor McDonald and exploring Picasso’s Guernica for ITV1. Helen now writes and produces commercials and short films for channels, charities, and brands all over the world. Helen writes fiction and poetry, and occasionally remembers to update her blog. Books shape her world. She lives in East London with her yoga mat and husband-to-be (not necessarily listed in order of importance) and loves strong coffee, over-priced stationery, thinking, laughing, and sleeping. www.readmesoftly.com Twitter - @helen_r_writes Instagram - @helen_richardson_writes Represented by: Imogen Pelham Titles Waking (Accent Press, 2017) |
