Hema Sukumar

Hema grew up in the city of Chennai in India. She previously worked as an engineer on a survey ship, which gave her the opportunity to travel the world and write about it.

​Her travel writing has been featured in various publications in India such as The Hindu, Indian Express and DNA. She now lives in London, and her first novel Minor Disturbances at Grand Hotel Apartments will be published by Hodder.
