Kassia St Clair
Kassia St Clair received a first in History from Bristol University and went on to study English women's dress and the masquerade during the eighteenth century at Oxford, where she received a distinction. She has since written about culture and design for publications including The Economist, Quartz, 1843, New Statesman and the Evening Standard, and has been a columnist for Elle Decoration since 2013. She lives in London.
Kassia's first book The Secret Lives of Colour was published by John Murray in the UK where it was also a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week, published by Penguin in the US, and has been sold in nine languages. Her second book, The Golden Thread, will be published in 2018.
