Kerr Thomson

Kerr Thomson began his writing career as a writer of Middle Grade fiction. His book, The Sound of Whales, won the Times Children’s Fiction Prize in 2014. His second book, The Rise of Wolves, was shortlisted for the Scottish Teenage Book Prize in 2019. Both books were published by Chicken House.

Kerr is now writing Gothic thrillers for adults. He lives in East Kilbride, Scotland with his wife and two teenage children. For many years now he has also been a high school teacher of Geography.
