Mel Darbon
Mel Darbon is a graduate of the MA in Creative Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University, where she is now an Associate Lecturer. She spent a large part of her childhood telling stories to her brother, who had severe intellectual disabilities. He inspired her to write books that give a voice to those who otherwise might not be heard.
Mel now lives with her family in historic Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire, high up on a hill, overlooking a Medieval Tythe Barn, a Saxon Church and the River Avon.
