Nick Dunn is a former member of the Parachute Regiment who has served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has worked in anti-piracy and as part of the group of ex-soldiers known as the Chennai Six was wrongfully imprisoned in an Indian jail. 

He is a keen distance runner and lives in the north-east of England.
