Nick Garlick
Nick Garlick was born in England in 1954 and managed to live, work or go to school in just about every part of the country before moving to the Netherlands in 1990. He has worked as a technical writer, copywriter, editor and translator, and now lives in the city of Utrecht, where he’s currently busy with new children's stories.
In 1980 Robert Hale published his science fiction novel California Dreaming. In 2008 two of his short stories appeared in the 366 WOW! children’s anthology from Scholastic. Aunt Severe and the Dragons, and Aunt Severe and the Toy Thieves, both illustrated by Nick Maland, were published by Andersen Press in 2010 and 2013. Storm Horse, a middle-grade novel, was published by Chicken House in 2015. He is now working on a new MG story set in Depression-era Texas.
