Phil Campion
Phil Campion is a former soldier, now author and tv personality.
Phil was given up for adoption at birth and subsequently sent to a number of children's homes. Leaving school at 16, Phil joined the British Army, serving with the Royal Hampshires. He passed the Royal Marines Commando course and the Parachute Regiment, before passing Selection for the SAS in 1997. He served in Northern Ireland, West Africa and the Balkans. After leaving the Army, he worked in private security and close protection in some of the world's hotspots. In 2011 he wrote his Sunday Times bestseller, Born Fearless and penned two novels, featuring his special forces' operative, Steve Range. His latest book, Who Dares Wins was published by Quercus in 2021. Phil is the Army Cadet Force's Ambassador. He also starred in the documentary, `Big Phil's War' for Sky and is a regular commentator on military matters on the television. Phil has been a regular feature of the Remembrance Rumble charity boxing tournaments between ex-members of the UK and US special forces.
