Roz Watkins

Roz Watkins is the author of the highly acclaimed DI Meg Dalton crime series set in the Peak District. The first in the series,The Devil's Dice, was shortlisted for the CWA Debut Dagger Award.

Roz originally studied engineering at Cambridge, and then worked as a patent attorney for fifteen years, which may explain why there's a dead one in her first novel. She is also qualified hypnotherapist and an animal trainer, giving plenty of scope for planning creative murders.

Roz lives in the Peak District with her partner and a menagerie of demanding animals, and likes walking in the hills with her dog, scouting out good places to kill people.
