S. J. King

SJ King writes because she has to, and has done since she was five.  

In life she laughs a lot, but her stories stray towards something darker.

Originally studying psychology, SJ went into film-making in London, and then digital documentary production in Hong Kong in the early 1990s. She has since lived in China, The Netherlands, the UK, and India, working with digital innovation and communication. She has held a strategic management role in IKEA for 15 years.

Juggling a demanding international career, two young children, a passion for remote travel, an Irish husband, and a crazy stray cat from Bangalore is not always easy, but her writing keeps her sane.
