Sonny represents commercial fiction and non-fiction.

Before joining Marjacq, Sonny was an independent agent. She has worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Jean-Michel Jarre, Susie and Nick Cave, Johnny Marr, Pet Shop Boys and Jill Furmanovsky. Fiercely protective over her stable of high-profile talent, she is actively looking to grow her list, and is always looking to work with artists who have a vision for publishing a book. 

Prior to becoming an agent, she was a Commissioning Editor at Penguin Random House and Hachette, working primarily on bestselling crime/thriller and women's fiction. She loves a strong hook, brilliant pacing and authors who think big-picture when it comes to their careers.

She was also a Development Producer for long-form documentaries and is open to pitches for long-form narrative-podcasts. She is not open to children’s books, sci-fi/fantasy or YA.
